We are extremely pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for students aged 16 to 19. Shrewsbury Education Service is now co-operating with New College, in Wellington, to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme at very attractive fee levels.

The International Baccalaureate at New College offers a high quality education to develop important intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills for living, learning and working. The Diploma Programme consists of a two-year curriculum which leads to examinations for a qualification that is recognised globally by leading Universities.

The IB is particularly suited to more able students as the course is regarded as more demanding than A Levels because students study six different subjects, rather than four. This gives pupils a much broader, more coherent course of study, with enhanced preparation for University. In addition to their choice of subjects, candidates follow a Theory of Knowledge course and the Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) programme.

IB Diploma holders are acknowledged as those who have a strong sense of personal identity. They have the capacity to study in-depth and ask challenging questions as well as being able to express their own opinions. Importantly, they also have the ability to communicate in more than one language.

We are very grateful to have the chance to offer this opportunity to prospective students and are looking forward to receiving applications. If you wish to apply please contact us on info@shrewed.co.uk.  You can also download an application form from this website.
